Nasal foreign body removal via rhinoscopy
Nasal foreign bodies typically present as acute onset of clinical signs such as sneezing, rubbing on face/nose, nasal discharge, among others. The continued presence of foreign material leads to chronic inflammation and chronic nasal signs. This can be uncomfortable. Rigid, retroflex rhinoscopy, nasal CT, and nasal flushing are sometimes required to diagnose nasal foreign bodies. Some foreign body removals can be difficult and time consuming.
